So, we meet again!

OK, so obviously I never really kept up with the last trip.  Hopefully I will keep up with a trip report better this time. ? Yup, new year, new experiences ready to happen.

Planning on heading to Walt Disney World November 7, 2014. We're gonna stay for 10 days this time.  I wanted to add the Disney Cruise also this time, but Abby (my only princess) vetoed it.  A little back story, when we went to WDW last August, it was literally 105 with the heat index every day.  OMG, it was hot as h*ll.  We did the bare minimum in the parks and spent the rest of the time at the pool at Pop Century.  Abby LOVED the feature Hippy Dippy pool.  There is recreation staff there each afternoon from 1:00 pm-till the movie at 8:30 pm.  They keep the kids busy and Abby loved it.

So when we talked about our vacation for this year, Abby said she would like one more trip in the parks to really see it and ride more rides.  I can't argue with that.  And she wants to be surprised this time.  So she knows she's going, where else would we go? ;-)  But she doesn't know the day.  So I can figure out how to surprise her.  Fun!

One mistake I made last time was on our arrival day.  I was insistent that we eat at Magic Kingdom that night in the new restaurant, Be Our Guest.  It is in the far very back of the park.  It was like 105 with the heat index, we were tired from traveling, and all my daughter wanted to do was swim.  Nope sorry no time for that.  Yeah... here is the picture of Abby first seeing the castle and Magic Kingdom.

Not quite what I was hoping for.  We hopped on the train and she perked up a little.  Dinner was awesome, and we did ride a few things.  Then she played in the fountains in the back of Fantasyland and got drenched.

Then we got some snacks and watched the parade, show on the castle and Wishes fireworks.

Let's start at the very beginning, a very good place to start.

OK, so back on February 2nd, I booked a trip to WDW for myself and my daughter.  We have booked ADR's (dining reservations for those outside my community), shows, airplane tickets, and a photo package.  I am waaaaaayyyy more excited than my 9 year old daughter who is going for the first time.  Is that bad? lol

Imagine my surprise when I logged in to look at my reservation as I do every day, (I have issues) and saw this!
I feel like I hit the lottery!!  No seriously, I do.  The MyMagic+ program is new at WDW and it is essentially 2 parts.  First, you get a Magic Band which is a wrist band that is your park tickets, Fast Passes, hotel key and charging privledges.  The second is the Fast Pass+ which is like ride reservations.

It was easy as pie to pick out my color of band and make my FP+'s.  I am so relieved that I can relax and know that my daughter's top rides are already reserved.
